Prior to starting with Templar, Tim spent 15 years in the international insurance and reinsurance markets, working both in UK and Europe.  His insurance career was split between multinational broking houses acting for major corporate clients and a global European insurer where he led a team of underwriters.

He has worked with Guy Carpenter, UBS, Rogge Investment and Deutsche Bank, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, Credit Suisse, Lazard, ING, Rabobank and Schroders. The work has been a combination of preparing clients for live pitches, as well as running best practice  communications  and  negotiation  programmes.

He has a BA(Hons) degree in German and Economics, speaks German fluently and also teaches at The London Business School
